Stand Strong
Family Support
At NDUEC, we recognize that strong families are essential to student success. Launched in 2013, the Family Support program is designed to strengthen families by providing resources, life-skills education, and opportunities for parents and caregivers to become active partners in their children’s learning and development.
NDUEC hosts four Family Support Nights throughout the school year, bringing families together in a welcoming and supportive environment. Each gathering includes a complimentary hot meal, educational activities for children, and presentations from guest speakers on topics relevant to parenting, personal growth, financial wellness, health, and community resources.
More than just educational events, Family Support Nights foster meaningful connections among families, staff, and community partners. Through shared experiences, encouragement, and practical guidance, families gain tools to support their children’s academic success while building stronger, healthier households.
